John and Dianne approached Ribble Valley Bathrooms with a clear vision: to create beautifully balanced spaces that felt luxurious, calming and effortlessly timeless. Working closely with designer Abbie, the brief evolved into a thoughtfully curated design that blends spa-inspired tranquillity with refined, everyday practicality.
Designed as a personal sanctuary, the master ensuite immediately evokes a sense of calm. Atlas Concorde Italian porcelain tiles wrap the room in soft neutral tones, creating a seamless, soothing backdrop.
A bespoke Dekton stone basin integrates seamlessly into an adjoining dressing table, forming a continuous surface. Storage is provided through a Keuco recessed Royal Lumos mirror cabinet and Fiora floating drawers, maintaining a clean and uncluttered appearance. Dornbracht Vaia brassware in a Platinum finish adds understated elegance throughout.
The ensuite extends into a dedicated wellness zone, featuring a bespoke Effe sauna and steam area. The Steam shower is enclosed by a bespoke Merlyn Arysto enclosure and inside features a beautiful shower combination from Dornbracht, transforming the space into a true retreat within the home.
The house bathroom introduces a more dramatic yet equally refined aesthetic Atlas Concorde 120×60 tiles are paired with décor wood-effect porcelain tile, bringing warmth and texture to the space while maintaining a sleek, contemporary feel.
A Sanijura solid wood vanity unit sits beneath a Dekton double vanity console, complemented by Vado wall-mounted brassware for a clean, modern finish.
The focal point is a Waters freestanding stone bath, positioned against a feature wall of Natural Slate Chevron tiles by Ca’Pietra. A recessed, softly illuminated wall niche adds both practicality and ambience. Completing the space, a Catalano back-to-wall WC and Zehnder Chime towel rail reinforce the room’s sense of calm, order and luxury.
