Chris & Kate

We first met our clients in the summer of 2020 with architectural plans for her new build home near Ormskirk. Kate had a good vision of what she wanted to achieve, so came to us to help develop her initial ideas. As our client was not afraid of colour, this allowed us to push the boundaries and we had some real fun designing this full house bathroom project.

Cohesive Design

Five Ensuites & Cloakroom

The full project included five ensuites and a downstairs cloakroom. Our client had previously seen Ca Pietra’s Lily Pad tiles on Pinterest so wanted to include these in both her master ensuite and ground floor guest bathroom.

Taking the hexagon tile format, we then incorporated this into the remaining ensuites to add a cohesive feel throughout the spaces. The house features brushed gold brassware from Vado and Aqualla, with Duravit sanitaryware and two Waters baths (River back to wall bath and Spa freestanding bath).

Kate’s daughter’s bathroom makes a real statement with a bespoke floating double vanity with marble Ceratop worktop and pink sit on basins – the perfect teenager’s bathroom space.

Finally, the cloakroom showcases tongue and groove panelling in Pleat by Little Greene to perfectly complement our showstopping porcelain monkey tiles and fluted Fiora vanity unit in a nude finish.

From our Client:

“Choosing 6-bathroom suites was pretty daunting, not a bad problem to have, but daunting. I knew roughly what I wanted but no idea where to start. And then I met Sophie and the whole process was made simple. She brought my thoughts to life, provided excellent quality products at a great price. Offered advice and planned layouts and design. I couldn’t have done it without Ribble Valley Bathrooms.”
