From the outset, our client envisioned a bathroom that felt nurturing, calm and quietly luxurious; a Scandinavian-inspired retreat layered with warmth, texture and soft lighting.
We were delighted to bring this vision to life through a thoughtful blend of natural materials, soothing tones and refined detailing, creating a space that feels both serene and deeply personal.
Upon entering, the freestanding bath immediately draws the eye, positioned centrally against a striking Tangram Walnut wood-effect tiled feature wall. Acting as a sculptural focal point, it is framed by layered timber textures that infuse warmth and character. A softly illuminated built-in niche above the bath adds ambience and practical storage, while the Vado wall-mounted bath filler introduces a sleek contemporary edge. This central arrangement gently divides the room, enhancing privacy and spa-like calm.
Portland stone porcelain tiles wrap the space, their smooth finish offering a subtle contrast to the rich timber backdrop. Behind the vanity, coordinating décor tiles introduce delicate texture, adding depth while maintaining the clean, minimalist aesthetic. The result is a harmonious balance of soft stone and warm wood that sets a tranquil tone throughout.
The bespoke vanity continues this understated elegance. A custom Dekton double basin in Lunar provides a seamless, calming centrepiece, paired with brushed nickel Vado wall-mounted taps. Below, a floating solid wood Sanijura unit grounds the space with warmth and refined simplicity.
Beyond the feature partition wall, the Impey wetroom shower maintains the same cohesive design language. Brushed nickel Vado brassware flows seamlessly into this private zone, complemented by a comfortable shower seat with a matching Dekton Lunar top and a softly lit niche for added functionality and atmosphere.
A Catalano wall-hung WC with concealed cistern preserves the room’s open, uncluttered feel, while the Lara towel warmer adds a subtle sculptural element and an extra layer of comfort. Opposite the bath, a discreet wall-mounted bathroom TV offers an added touch of indulgence, enhancing relaxation without detracting from the room’s calm, considered design.
The finished bathroom is a beautiful fusion of Scandinavian warmth and contemporary elegance; a serene, balanced space designed for rest and restoration.
Above all, it delivers the peaceful retreat our client envisioned: a place to slow down, unwind and enjoy a moment of everyday luxury.
