Salary: £35,000 per annum pro rata + uncapped commission

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bathroom Designer / Sales Designer to join our close-knit team on an initial nine-month maternity-cover contract, with genuine potential for the role to become permanent.

Ribble Valley Bathrooms is an independent, design-led luxury bathroom showroom based in the Ribble Valley.
We create beautiful, highly considered bathrooms for residential clients, combining exceptional products, thoughtful design and a genuinely personal service.

Your Role Will Include:

You will manage your own projects from initial enquiry through to sale, creating considered bathroom schemes and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting clients in the showroom and at their homes.
• Understanding client requirements, lifestyle and budget.
• Creating high-quality bathroom designs, layouts and presentations.
• Selecting sanitaryware, brassware, furniture, tiles, lighting, mirrors and accessories.
• Preparing quotations and detailed specifications.
• Presenting designs confidently and professionally.
• Managing projects from enquiry through to completion.
• Building strong client relationships and generating repeat/referral business.
• Proactively following up enquiries and quotations.
• Converting designs into profitable sales.
• Working closely with suppliers and the wider RVB team.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced designer who combines strong creative ability with proven sales experience.

You should have:

• Previous experience in bathroom, kitchen, interiors or a similar high-end showroom environment.
• A proven track record in design and sales.
• A strong eye for proportion, colour, materials and finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence presenting designs and discussing budgets.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to manage your own sales pipeline.
• A professional, personable and self-motivated approach.
• Strong computer/design skills. Virtual Worlds or similar/Quoting CRM System.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Most importantly, you should care about creating beautiful, individual bathrooms and delivering a level of service that reflects the RVB brand.

The initial contract is for nine months of maternity cover, but we see this as much more than a temporary position.

As the business develops and our existing team gradually returns from maternity leave, there is genuine potential for the successful candidate to continue with us on a permanent basis, subject to business requirements and performance.
